I love these tyres. on tires and tubes

This is my 2nd set. I had around 25mm on my vintage road bike and they were great with very little rolling resistance. However, in recent years the streets of Chicago have gotten a lot worse. So I ordered a set of 28mm wide tires to be able to handle the terrain better. They cushion a little more on rough materials and still roll easily. The rubber wall also gives my old Raleigh the right "look". These are lightweight tires best suited for paved roads. I haven't had any issues with any of the…

Great tires for your money.

I love these tires so much this is my second set! My first kit was called Pasela TG (Tour Guard) they changed the ending to PT (Pro Tite). I have never had a puncture on the TG and they have done about 3500 miles. Online the old TG series had a problem with proper factory treatment and some of the sidewalls cracked, Panaracer replaced these customer tyres, probably for this reason they changed the name to PT. I have never had any problems with the TG kit. For the price these are the best tires…

Beautiful vintage tires

They look great and grip well, they are easy to put on and they ride well. You should not only be able to handle the road, but also a bit of gravel. The quality is good but they have a small downside and that the black rubber from the tire is in one spot on the 2 tires I bought they flow like 2 centimeters in one or 2 spots although this is barely noticeable this is still a downside and they are also a bit warped The fact that they were stored in them wasn't the best but all it took was a pull…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Very expensive

Absolute rubbish. Suitable for Sport

Good tires in the past. While they're always a little flattering, the excellent all-round profile made it worth it. No longer. They're clearly cheap and uneven, with poor compound and flat protection. It's been 15 minutes since my first ride with them. Perhaps they could go with a vintage restoration that was more pretty than useful, but if you really want to ride or commute on something other than the roads of gold, look elsewhere. They were bought to replace Continental Contact Sport tires…

Works quite well on old clipless rims

I have a 30 year old Raleigh bike with Weinmann clipless rims. I tried CST and Kenda clinchers (both made in China) and ran them no more than 15psi below their rated max pressure and both beads began to expand to the point where they broke off rims without a hook. CST just had the pipe ripped out and sure enough the pipe exploded after a 2 mile ride. The kenda was slightly better, but you could still see enough bead stretch that I was afraid it wouldn't be long before the camera came out…

Low quality tires that will disappoint you!

After waiting weeks for the bike tire to arrive we were glad to be able to replace another Panaracer tire we had just bought before ordering a new tyre. We previously bought 2 tires from a local bike shop. But we were disappointed to discover that one of the tires had an air pocket around the brown trim. The risk of driving with an air bubble was too dangerous for us. And the bike shop where we bought it didn't allow us to return it after the tire was mounted on the bike. Then we decided to…

  • Consistent test results
