Works well with Mitsubishi

I had a Sony Blu Ray 3D player for about 5 days when I saw the Revain addon for DMP-BDT100. Avatar 3D discounts and product reviews helped me, so I ordered Panasonic. received on 01/26/11, received Avatar 3D on 02/07/11. I can't say I noticed any difference in playback between the Sony BDPS570 and the Panasonic in both 3D and 2D. I prefer the Sony XrossMediaBar (XMB) menu item to what seems to me like a primitive menu setup on the Panasonic, but that doesn't mean you spend a lot of time there…

I bought it for a reason, it beats all other

I bought this particular BD player because my Samsung BD-P3600 could hardly play pre-recorded discs so I needed something , which can play back all types of recording discs, be it CD-R to BD-R/RW DL. Let me preface this review by stating that I've read reviews that this is a "crippled" version of the DMP-BDT300 and 350 because it doesn't have built-in memory, analog output, dual HDMI output, or built-in WI has -FI, and it has a "less beautiful" graphical interface. My answers to these "harmful"

Pros
  • Blu-ray players and recorders
Cons
  • Expensive

Good for Blu-ray but nothing else

This is a fantastic DVD/Blu-ray player. WATCH TV. But I have an Onkyo digital receiver. All components are advertised as compatible with the HDMI-CEC protocol (referred to as "VEIRA Link" by Panasonic). By the way, my 50" Panasonic 3D Plasma TV is also a "VIERA Link" device. The idea behind the CEC protocol is that when I put a DVD/BD in the player, it controls both the TV and the receiver should turn on (correct input channel selection). Nothing happens. It doesn't ONCE turn on the Panasonic…

Pros
  • Blu-ray player
Cons
  • boring packaging
