Could provide mains power. However, all models now have such a problem with batteries, all simple wired phones are battery-powered. Mains power is only for those where the DECT base is also built in. Pros below: Reliably made, for almost ten years a couple of these have been living with me. Speakerphone is good. Different cons: Batteries last for 3 months, the clock does not work without batteries and the speakerphone does not work well. No CallerID, screen only for clock and dialed number.

Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

The first time I bought it back in the distant 90s to my parents (still an old design). It still works. (more than 15 years).
