The quality is good but there were no legs in the kit.

I have been using Panavise products for many years and wanted to add this base to my second Panavise. When I opened the package I was disappointed to find that no feet were included. It would also be nice if a set of screws was included, but the missing legs bother me more.

Pros
  • Nice packaging

  • Not sure

Works great, printed a helping hand ring for it

Too expensive for a base. Well made, heavy, good quality but nearly $22 for a vise base seems like a lot. It's only $8 less than a real 201 vise and nothing mechanical. I was afraid it might be too big but it's all ok, the trays are good and the stability is really great. 201 does fine without it, though, so you don't really need that base.

Excellent stand for Panavise

The Panavise model 312 stand/tray is well designed and feels quality. I have had a Panavise 300 for my electronics bank for over 20 years. This base block was added for stability reasons. It has enough weight for most small projects and its base is 8 inches in diameter. There are 3 threaded holes for attaching the vice, the screws are included in the scope of delivery. The base is equipped with practical compartments for components. The unit includes 6 self-adhesive rubber feet to prevent the…

ideal base. good for mobile bases

I have a small Panavise that used to be attached to my desktop but it's only been hanging around for a few years and after trying to work with it offline I just got frustrated . That. The 312 tray base languished on my wish list for at least a year until I finally decided to spend a few bucks to make my vise usable again. I'm glad I did! I leave it on the table as there is always something to do with it. The rubber feet and extra weight prevent slipping, the vise holds securely and the small…

Have used PanaVise for many years. Disappointed the first time

I have been using PanaVise products for many years. I have several types of vises and bases but this one was disappointing. It's stable, has a good weight, is completely flat, overall a great base and a great product. BUT two days later I noticed a bulge in one of the recessed trays. It turned out to be paint. I figured I could just scratch it with my fingernail. I did that, and then the paint started peeling and peeling off. And so on throughout the base. Where I tried to scratch, the paint…
