Boys' Clothing: Convertible Camping Trousers for Youth Outdoor Pants Review

These pants were not exactly as described and the quality was not at all what I expected. I wanted to return both pairs I bought, but it's too late, they're being given away.

These pants were the perfect fit for my slim teenager who was going on his first backpacking trip. The "shorts" are definitely long, but still cooler and suitable for wading. They repel water well and she loves them.

My son was only able to wear these pants once before the plastic end that goes in the zipper pulled the rest of the zipper off making closing the legs extremely difficult. Also, the zipper now ensures that the sides don't get tangled after you've closed it.

I thought these pants would fit me Pants that are skinny and not worth the money, the front pockets are very small, I can't fit my iPhone SE without half of it sticking out

These pants are a great replacement for the Boy Scout uniform pants. They cost half as much as uniform trousers and are made from synthetic materials, making them better suited for outdoor use.

These pants are amazing. Great quality, great fit and I really liked the belt. My son loved these pants. Will definitely buy more. The measurements are pretty accurate. My son is 10 years old (4ft 10") and I bought him a size 12 which he usually wears.

Nice pants for my little 8 year old scout boy. I don't think the zippers will last long. I'm sure he'll outgrow his pants before he wears them out. The belt at the waist seemed a bit thinner than most pants his size compared to the wide legs and length.

Order at least two sizes larger. I ordered for my son who is 10-12 years old but he is very tall so I ordered 14/16 because I wanted to make sure they would fit. Came up but all the extra zippers with pockets broke.

I ordered a Large (12) and an X-Large (16) for my 16 1/2 year old son who has a 28 waist and both were too small for him. My son is very skinny, too small to fit in most men's convertible pants. I ordered a size for a boy but the groin and hips were too tight. He couldn't sit at all. I didn't even bother opening the big one because the X-big was tight. Be sure to order one size larger.

These pants are wonderful! The fit is perfect for my 11 year old BSA Scout who fits a size 12-12 Husky in regular pants. The green ones go perfectly with the green BSA uniform and are much more comfortable for my son than any others we've tried. I actually bought 2 pairs for his scout uniform and plan on getting each of the colors.

Runs small and the size chart does not match the ordering options. I have a 6 year old boy who wears a size 8. With a waist of 29 inches. Most of his shorts are elastic. I ordered size 8 but the tag is small when I received them. Some of the images show an elastic waistband and the products do not have an elastic waistband. I reordered a larger size, 10, hoping it would work. I'm glad I have time for them to arrive and also that I can come back!

Pros: • Great green color, other colors look good too • Can be worn over shorts - glad they're going easy to reattach! This feature came in handy when visiting the salt marshes when my son got salt on the bottom of these pants and I was able to take them off. • Minimalist Look - I don't like the look of traditional cargo pants, so I like cargo pants.
