MY BIRD'S BEST FRIEND

My wife loves this doll very much. He sleeps with his head thrown back on the doll's body. He cleans himself all day long and even sends little kisses to the doll. Whenever someone tries to touch her, he gives them the choice without hesitation, and he is not aggressive in nature, just protective of his doll. This is the fourth doll I have bought and I will continue to buy them while they are available. .

Climbing fun is the best thing about toys

I like these little guys a lot. I put them in my gray parrot's cage because he loves to grab them like little climbers. I'd like them to do the same thing (same length) but with slightly thicker rope (and with larger washers, although you can buy those). The only thing about this size is that it can be a little frustrating to get the bars of the cage properly placed when the distance between them is more than half an inch (mine is about an inch).

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Lots of things

The best toy. suitable for dogs

I just got this in the mail for my parrot. I have an umbrella cockatoo. She jumped with excitement. It is not visible, but there is a bell at the bottom. It's not a timeless toy, but it hangs on a chain, which makes it great. I almost bought it thinking it was held up by ropes. Her favorite game is to gnaw the toy off the part that is attached to the cage and turn the toy into a pile of trash on the floor. It's a good size, the knots are pretty tight - did I mention it was on a chain? Good deal

Charlie's favorite toy

My afro gray Charlie is usually scared of new toys but not this one. I have bought at least 15 of these toys in the last year and 1/2. He just loves it. I've read that Bluebell is Zinc and I know it can be toxic to our parrots, but it doesn't chew the Bluebell. However, the round hook is wrapped in wire and the ends of this wire feel very sharp. However, it does not attack a wire, ball or bell. If he were more destructive with his toys I'd be concerned about that sharp wire and zinc bell, but…

Bird has a love-hate relationship with this toy.

Marvin our blue-throated macaw loves or hates this toy. He is very cuddly and prefers most of his toys to be made out of rope, fleece or other snuggly materials, but he HATES bells. I've never seen a bird hate bluebells so fiercely! Within two days, the bell was ripped from the underside of this piece and thrown across the room. Of course, Marvin is a particularly intelligent macaw and very mechanical, so I can't say the product is poorly made. He's the kind of parrot that can unscrew his…

Awesome toy (but replace the hook and bell --> they're zinc!)

My afro gray and sunny skin loves the cleaning doll toy. It takes you a while to destroy and it provides hours of fun. The only problem is that the hook and bell contain zinc which kills many pet parrots. On every doll I bought I replaced the hook with a stainless steel hook and cut off the bell. Always check metal with a magnet. If the magnet connects, the item is deadly to your parrot and should be replaced with a stainless steel version of the metal piece or cotton rope! Lots of parrots are…
