Park Tool 3 Sided 4.5.6mm Allen Wrench

I didn't really need this tool as I already have it and use the Topeak multi tool to make a 4.5.6 Allen Wrench -mm allen key to copy. But I decided to buy it to complement other Park Tools. For exposed screws or hex bolts, the Park Tool 3-Way and my Topeak 3-Way work fine. However, in use it may be necessary to use a long L-shaped hex wrench or something similar to loosen or adjust a seat screw or hex head.

A handy tool for assembling or servicing a bike

I was putting together a bike for my daughter and found it to be a useful tool and a lot easier than a standard Allen wrench. I've used it to advance screws before tightening and it's been very handy when going from one size to another; when I installed Shimano brakes and Sram shifters. I have a Lezyne version of this tool, which is more expensive, heavier, and a bit more cumbersome to use. The coating on part of the wrench wears off quickly, but this is a durable tool.

Fits perfectly. Almost good for bike tools and maintenance

Works pretty well but you need to be precise with your technique. To be honest, this is the first time I've used so-called Allen keys on my bike. I don't know if it would be better to use the round heads which would give more flexibility? Some of the hex screws need you to snap in at an odd angle. In any case, once connected to the hex bolt, the leverage was great and much better than my L-shaped hex wrenches. I have used this tool to change the brakes and am very happy with my purchase andโ€ฆ

Great little tool. All sizes I need. Quality parking tool!

This is an ideal tool for bike accessories. It took me a minute to get used to the rotation of this tool, but everything is fine now. technique mastered. All the sizes I need for the main bolts that I check between each ride. Much better than juggling three wrenches when you need a different size. just turn around Light. Works perfectly. Excellent quality. Make sure you are aware of the different torque values for different bolts. This wrench offers good leverage, so some screws can beโ€ฆ

More than the original version (20-30 years ago)

Summary: I had the original 1990's version, it had an aluminum center and blue plastic over the hex arms; the same size 4.5.6mm. Observations: This one is larger than this version. You get more grip which I find really helpful as I use this more on my bike than my bikes. Pros: Good fit and finish. Cons: I'm wondering how the hex levers are held together under the plastic cover. Conclusion: for 12 dollars. I rate this 5 stars. If the plastic center is a weak point I'll be sure to find out andโ€ฆ

A must for any aspiring bike mechanic/connoisseur

Many years ago I got my first tattoos, drank the most intoxicating beer and complained to anyone who would listen. I drove my Fixie '73 Eddy Merckx to a coffee shop in a bad part of town and lounged for hours on the crumbling bench seats, content in the knowledge that I had indeed found my calling in life. But it wasn't until I found the AWS-1 that I realized my life was incomplete. Now I shudder at the thought of having to switch between #4 and #5 allen wrenches, how could I have gotten thisโ€ฆ

Arrived with blemishes but works well

A few things to know: It's a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures and yet I didn't feel it was any extra torque led. That's fine for most purposes, but I'm thinking about getting L keys, I had to try harder than I'm used to. Mine arrived with noticeable blemishes, I suspect it was a used item but I was obviously aware of that. Doesn't get in the way of work and the ends feel like new, but I'd be interested to know if this is a common problem. Overall I like the look and it's good enoughโ€ฆ

Always hits something when twisted

I really don't understand why everyone likes these things. clearer marking of the size of each tool. Yes, you usually look upside down and you can tell, but they put crappy little stickers to mark the hex I got and very small torx stamps you can barely see. Pak probably paid the Chinese 50 cents each and sold them for $13. still sturdy and functional, but doesn't feel too cheap, uncomfortable to slip in your pocket or tote bag, or keep anywhere other than on your tool wall. is where I bump theโ€ฆ

All pros, no cons, the best in bike tools and service

Although I do bike repairs at home, I also work on Assault Air Bikes at the local gym. After seeing so many bike repair mechanics on youtube using this I figured it would allow me to lighten my toolbox by taking out other allen wrenches and just carrying this and the Park AWS-3. First, I knew that when so many professional bike mechanics use this, it must be a decent tool. After getting and using it, I was right. I could see and feel that this item was made with quality in mind. The weight lies
