Very low quality for the price

I should have taken the warnings in other reviews more seriously . NOT a quality tool. Got it in the mail today, first use and the thin metal is bent in the ratchet adapter as you can see in the photo. I think I figured a $24 tool would handle the extra torque. 1/2" disc (with necessary adapter) but I was wrong. Very cheap quality. My first purchase from Park Tool and a big disappointment as it only took 10 minutes. I really didn't even put that much pressure on it I HAVE taken my bottom…

Pros
  • Precision CNC machined aluminum, anodized and laser etched for easy identification, with 3/8" drive, ratchet/torque wrench compatible
Cons
  • There are imperfections

A bit pricey but works

I ordered this because I thought it would (1) remove the center locks on my disc brakes and (2) remove the SRAM DUB bottom bracket. This works fine for (1) although you have to be very careful to line it up so it doesn't come loose. The finished edges are very sharp, so I can understand why some reviews have complained about scratches. I find it a bit odd that it's aluminum given its purpose, but so far I haven't had any issues. As for my DUB bottom bracket, I just ordered this for $20 instead…

Pros
  • Fits 16 notch brake rings
Cons
  • Some bugs

Okay, but choose the wrench option.

I like this product but that's not why it got 4 stars. The quality was great. The product did what it was supposed to, I just had some design issues that could probably be fixed with some updates to the current design. This company had a wrench tool that was available at the local bike shop. I wanted one for myself and they recommended this brand to me. Looking at the key, I saw the socket style options. I prefer this in case I need to tighten it and having a ratchet option instead of a fixed…

Pros
  • Steel
Cons
  • Not bad but...
