Works well without bending

I've tried other similar wrenches that are curved. I found this to be a very durable finish, it also has a comfortable grip.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Park Tool Cone Wrench

When you own bikes and maintain them yourself, you need a variety of tools. These tools are built to last and do what they were designed to do very well.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

Fits router table

Purchased for router table. I needed a thin 21mm wrench for the collet (not original on this Hitachi router I believe). I also bought a Hitachi 23mm router key.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • High price

Worked like a blade wrench

I bought a Hitachi C10FR table saw from Craigslist but the guy lost the thin blade wrench to hold the blade mandrel while you loosen the nut and this part is discontinued. It works great as a replacement.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Clarity

Great shop tool update

Bought to replace the collet wrench on my router. Outstanding punching quality - absolutely flat, without burrs and tool marks. Exact size and comfortable thanks to the vinyl handle. Perfect addition to my workshop - I will probably upgrade the rest of my OEM keys with Park Tool keys due to the quality.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

Also fits faucet nuts

Contrary to a typical bike tool, 23mm is a common size for pressure faucet nuts. It will also fit some bottom brackets where a regular 23mm open end wrench might work. better, but it turned out to be cheaper than most of them. 23mm is one of the few large metric sizes that no typical 16" wrench can come close to replacing.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Capacity

Tighten the nuts on the rear axle where the wheel motor is mounted. This is actually an abuse of the tool as cone wrenches are designed to work in tight slots and not for high torque. I don't actually over-tighten the axle nuts to avoid stressing the ale bearings, and while it looks silly to have such a very narrow wrench on that big, meaty nut, it works well enough that I have this cone wrench at home use whenever I need to tighten or loosen the axle nuts. I have purchased many of these Park…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So So
