Not Recommended - Garage & Shop

In my garage, the water heater sits on a stand in the corner above the wheel stop. I bought this product to be able to park my Explorer as close to the water heater as possible without bumping into it so I can close the garage door. While this product still keeps me from hitting the water heater, it broke in half and won't stand up. cheaply made and doesn't stand up to the Texan heat at all. For the first few days he stood up and worked as expected. A week later he begins to lean. A Texas…

Works better than I expected.

I've looked at many different similar products but this design is my favorite because it's simple which means fewer failures and more reliability. Some of the reviews weren't good for it, but I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. The anchor is quite strong and stays stable, allowing your car to hit the bar and activate the motion sensor in the brake light. He didn't crash because I drove the car into the garage instead of going in like Lewis Hamilton. Installation was easy…

  • Easy to install

NOT A VERY STRONG STOP SIGN

This little sign is junk. Very simple, I feel like the bars need to be thicker and stronger because once assembled they just won't stand up and fall on the hood of my car. I've tried twisting small sticks but they are still very flimsy and wobbly. I hate it because my garage is one car and I usually walk by a bit where I need some space to get to my washer and dryer where mine are and that's why I bought this because I thought that this will help, but obviously I found this pretty useless to…

Functional but flawed

It looks like the designer intended this so the base would never tip over. As others have noted, the bar assembly will tip over unless it's against a wall. On the wall it's great because the wall stops it. However, I have an application where I'm not guarding a wall, but things that are at ground level. The connection between the rods and the base is a very flexible spring. It rises, but it's not perfect, and it looks silly leaning back like someone in limbo. you didn't hit him at 5 mph. I plan

The light doesn't work and the unit is very shaky

It's certainly easy to assemble but it's very shaky and won't stand up without falling over as the base isn't that heavy. He fell and the stop sign broke at the base where it connects to the plastic part of the post. I glued everything together, then glued the plastic coated green rebar to the bars and it's still wobbly. The backlight never worked unless I touched one of the screws on the back with a screwdriver. There's a piece of plastic that needs to be removed from the battery compartment…

Best alternative for secure parking in tight spaces

My current garage is quite small and my husband's truck barely fits in the garage. His truck has to get very close to the house for the garage to close, and I just knew that one day it would crash right into the wall. I wanted to be able to prevent this, so I did a lot of research and decided this was the best method. I had read previous reviews of this product and was very skeptical that this would not work, but as I said after all my research, this was the best option. Installation was very…
