Good "useful" solder. Big enough for all surface mount work but good for through holes or whatever else you need to solder. The only thing that confuses me is that the solder wasn't marked that well.

Works pretty well and is much easier to work with than lead-free solder. Since I soldered the 18650 lithium cells together, the lead content didn't bother me (I also cast my own balls, so lead doesn't bother me). It seems to work very well, the only complaint is the price, but the can itself is currently $20 a pound so the price is about what it should be.

I love this lot! I bought it again in 2011. I have almost 0.98 pounds of it left! To be honest, this will be with me for the rest of my life. If I have children, they need it too. lol It flows very well, has a small diameter and above all it is easy to work with. I like this size best because the larger solder wire is sometimes harder to work with and too big to get into the smaller solder joints.

I've been trying to assemble racing drones for about 6 months now but my soldering skills are lame. Well no, my previous choice of solder did the trick. After getting this solder, my first two solder joints came out perfect, and with that "professional" shine we've all been trying to get. Spend money on good solder and you will be much happier. I used this solder to replace swollen capacitors on my Imac G5 logic board. The soldering worked great! I did find a few cold solder joints in my work (out of 25 capacitors installed), but I attribute this to being new to electronics soldering and a relatively cold soldering iron. (50W) However, they got fixed the second time around. The solder spread well and quickly held the capacitor terminals.
