The long pin is positive and once you figure out which the plus is on the board they're ready to go. They look great and are a little lighter than I expected. Light and low spots aren't that bad, just make sure you place them as low on the board as possible when soldering or soldering to get dark spots. This is a comparative review. The two LEDs for comparison are cciyu 3014-SMD 20pcs. 4.7 mm 12 volt for car light (blue) brand new. I've bought much cheaper lightbulbs on Amazon that cost $20 a hundred. These bulbs are $8 for $10. I bought them to start making AC controllers as shown in the picture. Happy with results but product requires some work. My only real issue is that the legs are badly soldered to the two small posts at each end. If the posts were bent to the PCB and the legs were drilled and soldered it would be a much better design. This product is sold by sensor groups, so manipulating the height and angle of the feet provides maximum illumination.
