The main element of my hair

When I go to the Paul Mitchell School near me, the students use this along with other items on my hair when it's damp/wet before straightening it. . The scent smells more like green apple when I do it in the salon. I'm not sure if it's a different class; maybe not a professional force? Can be a little pricey but usually lasts a long time. The pump is easy to use. The only downside is that it doesn't rinse out well. You must use a clarifying shampoo or it will build up in your hair. This…

Purchase (review of 3c textured hair)

I have 3c hair. I use it before blow drying. This works very well. I apply a little after blow drying and then a little after ironing. Small things have a big impact. It is easy. For those of us with textured hair, I highly recommend doing it in small batches if applying post-iron. I also suggest that you rub it in your hands a lot until you feel like there isn't much of it left. I say this because if I don't notice it, back arches will occur. Yes, it's light and yes, the smell is pleasant. I…

Soft and straight hair

Great product! I've been using it for many years. Always smoothes and softens my hair whether I use it on dry or damp hair. Doesn't weigh down or add weird texture to my hair!

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • Almost never

INCREDIBLE in gels

Received this and it was supposed to be clear and was a milky sludgy liquid. Nothing like what I bought in the salons. And it didn't work like it should. What so confuses me is the same brand, same thing I buy in salons but at a better price. Believe me when I sat it wasn't worth your money. SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE PRODUCT. MY GIRLFRIEND BOUGHT THE SAME ITEMS AND SHE HAD THESE PROBLEMS. DISCOVER!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not Thin Serum - Terrible

This is not a thin serum. It has a different color, texture and smell. It doesn't flow from the bottle it came in OR from an old bottle I bought from Paul Mitchell's school. It does not work like a real skin serum. Avoid at all costs.

Pros
  • Big Choice
Cons
  • Some Trouble

I love this leave in relaxing balm!

You can't go wrong with a Paul Mitchell product! Sometimes I just don't have the patience to wait for the conditioner to sink in when I shower, so I prefer to just add it afterwards as a leave-in conditioner and this one gets the job done and more. The scent is pleasantly fresh, I like it very much. It didn't really last long, so unfortunately you don't smell it for long. I have to admit it was a little strange at first as it was sticky when I applied it to my hair. At first I was afraid it…

Literally smells like fish

I think the Paul Mitchel skin serum has changed the ingredients. Smells like fish, disgusting! And it seems thicker than before. Of course I haven't used it for 3 years, but before that I used it for about 8 years.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So-so

If he reads the label, he does what he says.

I love this hair product. I use it to relax my hair and create softer curls as opposed to my natural frizzy unruly tangles I would have without it. Not to mention my hair goes well with long, short, straight or curly hair.

  • Quick change
