Description of 🐠 Pawfly Large Air Stone Cylinder: Enhancing Aeration in Ponds and Fish Tanks

Medium Bubbles: The air stones with micro holes generate abundant dense bubbles around the cylinders, increasing oxygen and benefiting the aquatic life in your tank. Model: ASC100; Jetting volume: 5 L / min; Recommended air pump power: > 7 W; Fit for standard 3/16 inch ID tubing. Larger Size: These bubblers are 4 inches in length and 2 inches in diameter, which is fit for multiple occasions like hydroponic systems, ponds, aquariums, fish tanks etc. Stable in Water: Each cylinder weighs 0.8 lb, which allows it to lie or stand steadily at the bottom of the tank when bubbling, providing a stable bubble release space. Easy to Use: Soak it completely in water for 1 hour before use. Clean it with a brush as they get clogged after weeks or months of usage.

Complete Scrap - Doesn't Work

I tried on both stones that came with my order. In one case, a single stream of small bubbles exited the stone and all the rest of the air exited as large bubbles where the inlet port made contact with the stone. The other had about 6-8 thin jets of rock bubbles and again several large bubbles where the inlet enters the rock. I put both of them to work for a few days hoping things would get better once they had enough water. None did. The little rock I got for free with my aerator works much…

Pros
  • Stability in Water: Each cylinder weighs 0.8lbs, allowing it to lie or stand stably on the bottom of the tank when blowing through, providing a stable space for bubble release.
Cons
  • Only available in white

Very disappointed with these Air Stones

I work in a fish retail store and am always looking for products to enhance my personal and shop tanks. We have vents that work perfectly and wanted to add vents to some of the other tanks and bought them because of their size. Unfortunately, size doesn't matter if the bubbles/air just come out of the top of the stone. And big bubbles at the same time. So I "sealed" the top of the balloons with silicone caulk in hopes that air would continue to flow into the balloon. That didn't happen…

Pros
  • Medium Bubbles: Micro-hole air stones create abundant dense bubbles around the cylinders, increasing oxygen levels and promoting aquatic life in your aquarium.
Cons
  • no automatically

I purchased on July 29, 2018 but my system was not working until October 28th. When I first plugged them in (both did the same thing) I'd say 90% of the air escaped around the stem just forming big bubbles. Poor quality and too late to return. Update: After epoxidizing the barrel and finding it was still leaking, I found that the problem was related to the strain relief tubing I was using. The stones were ok. 4 stars because of bad packaging. Also worth noting that I received a note from the…
