Overall a good product. The rocks are rubbish, I spent a lot of time putting them up and then found out that one of them deflated all my air so none of the other rocks got in. The valves are cheap too, but they seem to match the quality of Revain quite well.

I bought this kit as a spare but mainly for T adapters. The adapters appear to be very cheap. The hose is very soft and flexible, the best part of the kit. The suction cups hold the glass well. I haven't tried an air stone (bigger than I thought it would be) or an anti-siphon valve. The anti-siphon valves appear to be of good quality and a simple attempt to bleed them seemed to work fine. Overall a decent set for the price.

First of all the chemical smell of the hose and suction cups was overwhelming! Since this is a disposable product, I found a solution. Google told me that if you leave it in a bath of water and white vinegar for an hour, rinse well, soak in the regulation (dechlorinated water) and the smell will still linger. I needed this product to install an air stone in my family's 10 gallon aquarium. I love the concept of this packaging (hence the two star rating). My concern is with the suction cups - they smell so awfully chemically that after airing them out for two days I just decided to throw them out. without ever using them. I bought this mainly for the check valves and hoses that come with the filter and pump set which I bought separately. I went ahead and added an air stone to my shrimp and snail tank. I originally used one of the T's included in this kit to split the flow from my pump to the air stone and filter and it didn't work, only the filter was getting air. I wanted to add a few more aerators for my fish to oxygenate the water. I like this product the most because it allows you to get creative and create different pipe paths to have multiple airstones. With my 40 gallon pump I have 2 rocks and the air tube is submerged under rocks and gravel. I put these air stones in my 45 gallon tank and they work great. They add a nice view to the aquarium and of course oxygen for any fish I plan to buy. I didn't use the check valves because I already had 2 that came with the air pump and I also didn't use the hose because it was a little thin and wide so I bought a separate one that fitted just right.
