Works fine for me. For a homeowner without tools, the installation would be unbearable. I cut a hole in the bottom cabinet in my laundry room and attached it to the door so we could hide the tray. Our cat didn't mind going through this as it is a new item. But overall it works quite well. EDIT: This is for a real door, not a closet door as the closet door is too thin for both sides to fit properly.

First, the price for what you get is ridiculously outrageous. It's 2 pieces of plastic, a crappy brush, and 2-sided tape. Here's the kicker - none of this junk works. Too large. Cat door glue doesn't hold well. Once the side pops out, the brush falls out and becomes a cat toy. The whole thing is cheap and flimsy and could literally be attached with a couple of screws. But I think it would cut profits from selling plastic by 50 cents for $30.

Very cute and works great. The template was easy to cut out and was the perfect size, just traced onto the door with a pencil. This was the first time I've used a jigsaw and the hardest part of the install was getting the door back on its hinges 😂 I have 3 cats who have used it multiple times since installing it and she doesn't feel at all weak on. Still nice and solid including the brush. Someone else mentioned that the plastic came off theirs and I'm guessing they didn't clean the door…

My ever-changing work schedule lately requires that I sleep during the day, so I had to close my bedroom door to block out the sunlight.
