Assembly wasn't easy. In fact, we didn't finish it because cardboard was hard to tear and wanted to be folded all the time. This might work for the patient person who enjoys working with cardboard.

It's easy to assemble but a bit messy. My problem is that it's expensive for plain cardboard. There are sensitive odor areas that are slightly weaker or lose their shape. Besides, this product is very cute and the cat loves it.

We raise cats and kittens who often come to us straight off the street so we want to give them a safe place to hide out if they want and that's great for that and super nice ! Easy to assemble and has lasted an impressively long time despite tooth and claw abuse!

Bought for our large Dutch folding rabbit. She loves to play and chew on cardboard, so we usually build houses from leftover cardboard, but we have to use tape or glue to hold them together, which she sometimes eats. This house is made entirely of cardboard and is held together with cardboard tabs, so no glue or tape is required. It also has a thick removable cardboard base so it takes her a while to dig through.
