I'm not a big fan of outrageous colors on my bike. i like black I bought this protective jacket for better visibility when cycling on the highway. It's very light and seems to block the wind well on those cold, windy days when it's not so cold that you want to wear thermals. The material is thin but serves its purpose. Fits comfortably. Your normal size will fit, but I found limited mobility at the top of the shoulder/ribs. I went up a size, it fits more comfortably in the areas indicated, but is larger in the torso area and offers longer sleeve coverage and is easier to layer. I bought a select and select reversible jacket in multiple colors and found the material was not compatible. One jacket is treated with waterproof material and the other is not. For the price (at a huge discount) it's surprisingly well
