Well these pedals are very good for the price. If you're very serious about cycling I would invest in name brand pedals but that's just me. I train hard (I snapped a few chains) and these pedals have withstood the force I expended. I suspect the bad reviews on the Pedalflex are due to the riders being much heavier. If you weigh less than 200 pounds, these pedals can be abused like any other pedal. Overall the quality is perfect for the price. Highly recommended.

Took about 3 days. Unfortunately I just installed it after receiving it for Christmas. Install with the correct recommended tightening torque. After 3 days of use, the left pedal came right out of the shaft while riding. I almost broke my ankle when I lost my balance and fell to the ground, and my right leg wouldn't disengage from the clamp. Definitely not recommend. My Vector pedals needed service so I wanted something cheap and fast that was compatible with the same cleats as I didn't want to mess with shoes or a bike fit. So far, so good! They work great with my Keo boots and the grip and release feel is about the same. The thread is well made and grips well. They don't spin as freely as high-end pedals. I was so excited to get on my new spin bike and get it in time to bolt on and ride. They screwed in very easily, but when I put the shoes on and tried to snap them in, they didn't accept my LOOK boots at all. I should have known something was wrong when I opened the box and found a set of spikes and screws to attach to my cycling shoes.
