WARNING: people in the comments saying this is not suitable. You are wrong. It's actually the exact right thread size and the exact right gasket size. The thread is 22 x 1.5mm and the inner seal diameter of 2.40" is the same as the Motorcraft FL820 and Motorcraft FL500. This HPZ-173 is the same size as the FL500. Yes, it will. But it doesn't fit properly in my 5.7 liter Ram 2500. The sealing space for the regular high end filters I buy is outside of the housing of this much smaller filter. This filter is physically smaller than any other brand for this vehicle. So much so that when I saw the box I went to the Pennzoil website to make sure I ordered the right size in the first place.
