I'm sure the gear is very good though.

Trying to get a SIM card working in this thing is hell. Nobody seems to support this and adding a SIM card from a Verizon phone just kills the SIM card. The device detects the SIM card and attempts to connect to Verizon, but fails to connect. At this point, putting the SIM card back into the phone will make the phone unable to connect to any data. I had to buy a new SIM for my phone. Verizon techs couldn't figure out what happened to the sim.

  • Pretty impressive

Disappointed - Networking Products

First, if you need high speed on the Wi-Fi side, you need an access point in addition to this router. If you want to use it to connect to the network as a WAN (even for testing), the license costs $100. This also allows you to connect it to another Wi-Fi network as a WAN. Okay I can live with that, add an AP and it should be fine. But when you then connect to a cellular network, it's even slower than a regular hotspot. I expected the same or better with antennas, but that's not the case. I say…

Great speeds and range

Great LTE router. I was able to get 90Mbps upload and 20Mbps upload. We use at our river location where there is almost no data service, but with two 10 mile Bolton 28dbi antennas connected to this unit we can download 30Mbps and upload 6Mbps. For us, diversity only stabilizes the connection. Doesn't seem to help with speed increase, but it stabilizes speed. With only one antenna connected, my download and upload speed tests vary wildly. Sometimes it only receives 1Mbps and 0.90Mbps. But with…

5 Mbps. super slow

I've seen marketers claim it would hit 100Mbps. It seemed to start up normally, but it took an extremely long time to recognize the SIM card. SIM card slots require an adapter that is not included. They do not match the current SIM card style commonly used by all network operators. Slot A after connecting averaged 3.5Mbps on Verizon. Slot B on At&T. would never connect. The Verizon jetpack next to him had an average speed of 30 Mbps. Of course, buying an additional device will make it run…

It can be a great product, but if you're not technically inclined.

This may be a great product but if you are not tech savvy this is going to be a real challenge. It came in a box with no installation instructions, I had a hard time finding specific user information for this model on their website. They offer a cloud-based tool called Incontrol. After registering the device I tried to register with Inconrtol and after 4 attempts to get the system to send me an authentication email I refused. I have an AT&T SIM card and I can log into the device and get online,

  • Looking forward to

  • Somewhat crumpled

That thing is slow!

We work full time on wheels and bought this to have a wired connection to our hotspot. After tuning, we were able to achieve a maximum download speed of around 5 Mbps. When testing the phone from the same location, it wasn't even close. The phone's Wi-Fi hotspot blew it away. I've tried jetpack sim and phone sim (with ttl set to 64, 65 and 66). Same result every time: 5 Mbps or less. I isolated the Verizon tapes and no improvement. I even drove as close as possible to the nearest cell tower…

Reliable cellular router for cellular networks

I wanted to try another option to connect to the internet while traveling in the country. I have been using Winegard products for 2 years now. It was just slow and unreliable. I ordered this product in 5G and they shipped it the next day. The unboxing was successful and the product was relatively easy to install and set up. Don't get me wrong, I'm a former IT manager who installed similar equipment across our fleet. I had a real problem connecting to a cell phone provider. A help request sent…
