Trying to get a SIM card working in this thing is hell. Nobody seems to support this and adding a SIM card from a Verizon phone just kills the SIM card. The device detects the SIM card and attempts to connect to Verizon, but fails to connect. At this point, putting the SIM card back into the phone will make the phone unable to connect to any data. I had to buy a new SIM for my phone. Verizon techs couldn't figure out what happened to the sim.

First, if you need high speed on the Wi-Fi side, you need an access point in addition to this router. If you want to use it to connect to the network as a WAN (even for testing), the license costs $100. This also allows you to connect it to another Wi-Fi network as a WAN. Great LTE router. I was able to get 90Mbps upload and 20Mbps upload. We use at our river location where there is almost no data service, but with two 10 mile Bolton 28dbi antennas connected to this unit we can download 30Mbps and upload 6Mbps.
