I bought this rope 6 months ago and hung it from a 20 foot branch of my solid oak tree. The rope was fine and had good use for 6 months but a friend's child climbed on the rope and it broke. I do not recommend buying for outdoor use. This failed and could have caused physical harm to my friend's child. Luckily he was fine, but it could have been worse! As some other reviewers have said, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT OUTDOORS!

This rope makes a good Christmas gift, I speak from my own experience because it's true. It's stronger than expected and can even stay strong on some small branches that are higher up. This product was great. My children and I have a lot of fun, train and strengthen ourselves at the same time. The included hardware and loop means you can attach it to another mount or rope and clip the loop around a beam, branch or pole. Below I wrapped an unexplained ratchet strap around the limb and a couple of times then I tied it with a square. I then used the included hardware to connect the rope to the straps.
