The value is here. best filters

Easy install (30 minutes), looks and sounds good. Keep your old clamps as they will fit better than some of the ones included in the kit. Few others have recommended it either. I had about 2 months. I think I feel a little stronger in this step. Definitely a 1+ mpg increase. You can definitely listen to it. It complements my double turbospin (whistle sound) without overpowering it. There is no aftermarket exhaust so I can't comment on this setup. I definitely recommend it. Also, I did what the…

Also ensures a good mood; more (hopefully) will

I installed this in my 2012 F150 EcoBoost. I've always wanted one of these air intakes, but I've never had a car worth enough to put one on. However, installation was pretty easy. It took about 30-40 minutes. As others have said, the hose clamps on the passenger side are too small. They fit, but you have to remove and attach the clip by wrapping it around the pipe and tightening. Pretty lame as to how/why it is. How difficult is it for K&N to find the right size collar? After installing it, I…

Wrong parts shipped, no difference in mileage, no difference in sound

So K&N, one of the best names in air intakes right? You've been in the game forever, right? Funny they can't supply the right clamps for this kit?!?! Had to throw them away and reuse them from my factory set. Previous mechanic, not the first time with a wrench. After that little setback, I thought I could finally hear those twin turbos start and breathe! Wa wa wawawa….nothing….I know what you're thinking, at least with MPG we'll actually see even a small difference, I mean even a small change…

Much better mileage on my 2013 F-150

Image after a fair odometer reset and subsequent 25 mile run. My truck has averaged 15.9 mpg since I bought it new. I'm really surprised at how well it's running and as of this writing it's been about 2 weeks and the mileage is now at 18.1mpg. I don't do the hyper mile and I get stuck in traffic a lot, so I think that's pretty fair. The full size cockpit really impressed me and I wish I had done it many years ago. When it comes to installation, I'm generally not very mechanical. I watched the…

Met and exceeded my expectations

The filter kit was very easy to install. I took my time double checking and cleaning parts of the engine bay as I worked, and yet it only took about an hour from start to finish. Before purchasing this system, I read many reviews. The three main benefits I've read about are increased torque, power and gas mileage. My first priority was hopefully improving gas economy and I was pleasantly surprised. I have a few regular rides of varying speeds and terrain (a mix of freeways, back roads and city…
