🔧 Performance M980 Lug Nut Emergency Removal Set Review

This worked great to undo the loose nuts. However, I cannot give 5 stars as it was very difficult to remove the nuts from this wheel once it was removed from the tire. I had to sand down the sides of the failed nut to put a wrench on it and put it in a vise to get it out. So either use one for each nut and throw it all away, or have the right supplies on hand to get the bad nut out.

Worked like a charm for me and my rx8 which I bought with lock nuts that didn't have a wrench. I used this product along with a shock cord to wear and they came off immediately. It would be difficult without a percussion pistol. It would be 5 stars but the nuts get stuck in the socket. So you'll have to use locking pliers and run it back onto the machine to unzip it. Because of this, you may need to purchase more than 1.

Worked great for loosening the locking nuts - once we got the nuts out of the way. The locking lugs on my Jeep were of the type with a large rotating outer ring, which we didn't realize until we started using the tool. This will most likely not work for those who have not cut or completely cut off the ring to allow the socket to be attached onto the post portion of the tip. I'm not saying it doesn't work, it just doesn't work for my application. I have Gorrila locknuts. The top of the nut is threaded. It turned out to be a lot for an outlet. I tried and tried to get the nest to bite but it didn't work. One socket was too big for my Sierra Lugs and the other didn't bite.
