Not suitable for shipping

Scraper had a huge burr on the edge. It could not be used because it might scratch the surface I was scratching. I had to grind a new edge on it.

Responds to pressure

It's definitely stiff and has sharp edges. Ideal for removing many layers of old paint from wooden surfaces. Depending on the pressure exerted, much or little is removed.

Scrape the bottom of the barrel?

Comfortable handle, stronger blade than thin scraper, what more could you ask for. The straight blade makes it a little easier to scrape pads in hard-to-reach places since you can actually put pressure on them. I had similar scrapers and was looking for replacements for the worn scrapers. And they do their job very well. NO CHISEL AND NO trellis! Universal scraper that I use for gaskets.
