Magnet fits extension housing

The magnetic properties on this one are good at best as the bolt is difficult to hold in the socket. Another problem is that the magnetic element gets stuck in the plug, making it difficult to use.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Save money: spare parts

They hardly hold medium-sized screws. I thought they were going to help me hold on to the drain plug when changing the oil, but the plug still falls out of the socket. Spring. I think it could work with small screws and bolts.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • New competition is here

Handy to have extensions in the case

I like these. The extension itself doesn't seem that strong, so I usually just use it to install a screw and then go back to tighten it. I also make a lot of grease fittings, they fit in the back of the socket hole and hold the zero very well so I can easily install it.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Clarity

No more dropped nuts and bolts!

Don't you hate it when your 30 minute job turns into an hourly job just because somewhere in your engine bay (or in a car door when replacing an electric motor) a nut or bolt fell off? )? If you're a mechanic, don't be shy, you know this has happened to you too. lol They are great, seem strong enough and are very affordable. Five stars!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Something different

Bracket cannot be removed from packaging

Extensions cannot be removed from the plastic bracket. I contacted the seller, they don't know. Worthless, of course, if he doesn't get the package. Will come back if someone can't help. Oh yeah, I've been using automotive and motorcycle tools for over 50 years. That amazed me. No, that can't have been the engineer, you think! I ended up spraying wd40 and then using a screwdriver to unclip the tools from the bracket. damn you think

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poor repairability

Not a substitute for real magnetic sockets

The concept is very cool but this product isn't very good because the screw that you either take out or put back in doesn't reach the bottom of the socket. Therefore there is practically no magnetic attraction. I sometimes use this for car audio. But I use it on an extension to catch far back bolts and fall backwards at an angle. In fact, there is no substitute for true magnetic sockets. Although it works quite well when using magnets to grab a bolt without a socket.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • No
