When I first tightened the nut, it broke. I took the pipe to the muffler shop in size. The guy did it for $10, ten minutes was perfect.

Rubber bands ripped after repeated use. Easy to swap out, just think they should last a little longer. Exhaust extensions don't usually last very long, but with the exception of the straps, they seem to be holding up well.

With a little patience and lots of lubrication I was able to resize some tubes when I suddenly noticed a difference in size. I expect it to wear out if I use it very often. Although he pulled me out of a difficult situation.

I really like this instrument. Exhaust work is usually very tedious, but this tool makes it much easier for me to put pipe parts together. I even used it to widen the exhaust collar which wouldn't work without it. saved my day

Good idea. First use on an aluminized steel exhaust pipe with threads removed. I have no way of returning the item and will try to purchase a hardened nut to see if it engages the threads.

When I received the tool, the topics were a mess. still makes the tool a bit difficult to use, but it works and the rubber bands feel strong and flexible. Overall I recommend and I doubt all the issues messed up.

It will probably straighten out the dents in the collar, but it definitely won't stretch the tube for splined joints. I knew it wasn't meant to be used for this, but figured it would be cheap enough to try. The two flared parts broke in approximately the same direction when tested. I really can't imagine it being able to remove dents and such, but it can.
