Performance Tool W8633 24 Tap Review

After I put it to the test, the Performance Tool Tap proved to be a lifesaver for my car's suspension system. The process of tapping the holes was made much easier by the accuracy and quality of this tool. The performance of my car's suspension has improved drastically since it was tapped with this tool. The only downside is the price, which may be steep for those with a limited budget.

Not impressed. The crank pin broke in the crank and had to be drilled and knocked out to reinstall the harmonic balancer. The drill worked well but the tap would not cut. It wore out before new threads appeared on it. I bought another brand and immediately started cutting.

The drill could not drill a 3/8 hole that was already tapped. Luckily I already had a quality nozzle that did the job. When I tried to cut the faucet into the drill hole, the faucet got so stuck I was afraid it would break. I had to look locally for a good faucet. In my opinion, it's not worth using. Do yourself a favor and buy the best quality made in the good old USA.
