EASY to use! in my review

This item works like a charm! I love it! As a teacher I am putting in grades often and this is such a helpful tool! Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • The X-Scissor keys make typing more comfortable and efficient, reducing the risk of typos and errors
Cons
  • Repetitive strain injury possible with extended use

Good enough for a college student

I have a silver ultrabook that lacks a keypad and I do a lot of numerical online homework projects (chemistry, statistics). This keypad looks nice and is slim enough to look like it came with the ultrabook. It has the Perixx logo on the top left corner but it doesn't really bother me. The keys work well except for the number '5' which I have to press harder than the other keys to make sure it shows up. I'm not exactly sure what the usb port on the side is for but sometimes I plug the keypads…

Pros
  • Very convenient for laptops without a number pad. I feel that it's a must have. This one works great.
Cons
  • Configuration of keys may differ from standard keyboard layout

Great device for the price can’t go wrong

I am very happy with this little thing and it connected so fast and easy. I went through two different full size key boards before realizing this was a way better option as it never felt right in front of my laptop with it being so much longer.

Pros
  • Great product - works just like advertised!
Cons
  • May not include necessary instructions or user manual

it has a tab key! best in my review

I'm an accounting student and I bought this and the PERIPAD-201PLUS for my desktop and laptop. to make entering numbers into excel easier. Boy do they work great. I love the fact thay they both have "TAB" keys, as in excel this makes moving between cells so much easier than using track pad back to numbers back to track pad.I highly recommend both of these to any one who has to use excel for school or work.

Pros
  • For use at our church for recording giving, with a laptop that does not have a calculator key pad.
Cons
  • Requires extra desk space for mouse and other peripherals

Good. Short cord in my review

This numpad is very good for what it is. It types well and accurate, the only thing I will say is the cord is too short for what I want to use it for (about 3 feet)

Pros
  • SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10; 12-month limited
Cons
  • Limited color options may not appeal to all users

Perfect 10 key companion for laptops and compact keyboards.

What a great deal!I got this as an add-on item and I'm thoroughly impressed with it. It's not magical, but does what I need it to do and looks great doing it. I use it with my Logitech K400r. The Logitech has a touchpad instead of a 10-key pad, so this helps at my desk.Things I like most:Num lock button is far at the top and lit with an LED, letting you know the current stateTab button is a HUGE winner in Excel when entering information across columnsBackspace button is a time saver when you…

Pros
  • The keypad's durable build ensures that you won't have to worry about damage from daily use
Cons
  • May require additional adapters or cables to use with certain devices

Not great. on my review.

You get what you pay for. If you hit the keys fast as I do while I’m crunching numbers, you get double hits all the time for unintentional repeated numbers. Essentially the key pad thinks you’re hitting the same number more than once if you hit it hard and fast. Very frustrating to use and slows down number entry considerably because you’re always going back to delete and re-enter more slowly. Low quality product.

Pros
  • ‎3.68 ounces
Cons
  • May not offer enough additional features to justify the purchase

Generally good.buttons are a little far apart though.

As a teacher, I really love having this external keypad. It makes entering grades so much easier! The buttons are a little more spaced out than on a typical keyboard though, so I do make errors from time to time while quickly punching in numbers.

Pros
  • ‎Black
Cons
  • Tendency to attract fingerprints and smudges

Cord Is Cracking After 1 Month

Keypad is fine. However, it’s cord is very long. From it scrunching up to have the keypad in reach, the cord is starting to crack open after a short time.

Pros
  • Easy to use and stays in place when in use
Cons
  • USB hubs may not provide enough power for certain devices

Love the USB ports good for me

Love the large print on the keys. I used the USB port to plug in my cordless mouse base freeing up a USB port on my laptop. The tab key is very convenient.

Pros
  • This is the 3rd one I have purchased. very happy.
Cons
  • Tab key functionality may not work with all programs

Numeric keypad with USB port

I brought this pad to use with my surface. Even though the surface does have the numbers on the keyboard, I prefer something a little larger and to the side. Because I also prefer to use a mouse and only have 1 USB port, this pad was the answer. For this reason, I recommend it.

Pros
  • ‎11091
Cons
  • Key presses may be louder or more distracting than desired

Forex trading accessory -- keypad.

It looks better in person. Sleek, solid construction and responsive keys. Perfect to carry around especially when you're doing spreadsheets using chromebooks or netbooks. I got this as an extra keypad to enter my trades (forex), and I am happy with it. I recommended this to everyone.

Pros
  • The tab key makes it easy to switch between applications quickly
Cons
  • May interfere with other USB devices when plugged in

Works great! It's nice and slim with a white design .

Works great! It's nice and slim with a white design and keys to look nice next to my Macbook Air. All the keys work perfectly. It comes with a light up number lock button to switch the keypad on or off. Don't know when I would use that feature often since I would probably just plug the device when not in use. It also comes with two additional USB ports on the side which is nice.Overall, great product. Would recommend.

Pros
  • It's great for data entry, financial modeling, and accounting work
Cons
  • May not offer enough tactile feedback for typists who prefer a mechanical keyboard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works as advertised

This numberpad is super useful for those who do data entry on their Macbooks, however my only complaint is how stiff the USB-C connector is. When plugging the connector into a port you really have to force it in, that being said once it's in, there are no signs of it accedentally coming out. As an accounting student this product is extremely useful!

Pros
  • The keys are soft and responsive, reducing hand fatigue during extended use
Cons
  • May not offer enough feedback for satisfying keystrokes

Works on Apple OS X 10.8

Plug and play with Mac OS X 10.8, just ignore the devise setup wizard. Long enough cord to plug in on the left side of the computer and use right handed. With num lock off the numbered keys act as arrow keys, maybe this is helpful for gaming? Great for anyone who does data entry.

Pros
  • The X-Scissor keys make typing quieter and less disruptive to those around you
Cons
  • May be too heavy to move around easily

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Unreliable. Double-key presses at random

Frequently sends double key presses when I only hit the key one time. Pretty much unusable for any serious work. Basically garbage.

Pros
  • This keypad is just the right size for a standalone keypad for a laptop.
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with certain operating systems

Boss loved it: my feedback

My boss loved his small foot print keyboard but missed the numeric keypad. He didn't want to swap so I got him this for when he's crunching numbers. Can use it then move it out of the way and the key options were perfect for some of our apps.

Pros
  • The keypad is easy to clean, thanks to its smooth surface and minimal design
Cons
  • May not be worth the additional cost compared to a full-sized keyboard with a numpad

Works OK at first but broke for me after only a few uses. Not durable enough to carry in a backpack or laptop case. Unfortunately, portability is the main reason you'd buy something like this.My ENTER key broke off just sliding the keypad into a loose always-open side-pocket after slightly more than a month of very occasional usage, so I can't return it. The trade-off for the keypad's very slightly lower profile (not needed for me anyway) is that the keys aren't retained very well to the base…

Pros
  • EXTERNAL NUMBER PAD - External number keypad with 19 keys for laptop or keyboard without an integrated number keypad area, Big and bold print keys with a tilted design for maximum visibility and comfortable to use; Dimensions: 5.16 x 3.43 x 0.79 inches
Cons
  • May not be suitable for left-handed users

Like it very much! - my new review

I just got this product today. I like the slim look. (I had to return a numeric keypad because it was too bulky). This one is perfect for my Microsoft surface. In addition, Even though it’s a wired keypad it does have the two USB hubs. Which is AWESOME!My only complaint is the film on the keypad is already bubbling (see the pic). Its brand new out of the box.The film bubbling is not a deal breaker. So I’m keeping it

Pros
  • Works for what I needed
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing to some users

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice look, works well, but lacks keyboard responsiveness

Order came promptly and works as it should. The addition of a USB input is a pretty big plus, especially if you're working with a laptop with limited USB's. The keys aren't very responsive and the feedback isn't great, but then I am working with a terrific Thinkpad keyboard alongside the Numeric keypad so the difference between the two are magnified. Still, it reliably does what it is supposed to do and that's worthwhile.

Pros
  • The Perixx Peripad-202H Black Wired Numeric Keypad is an essential tool for enhanced productivity
Cons
  • May feel flimsy or cheaply made
