Prevents metal connections from seizing

I use it mostly on spark plugs, thermostat housing bolts and water pump bolts. It's so effective that I now use it for nuts on my cars and anything else I can think of. I definitely love the Permatex brand, this bottle will probably last longer than I will be on this earth. Save your joints and bolts - use them on anything corrosive and/or difficult to bolt or subject to heat.

Great Stuff!: Lubricants and Lubricants

I used this during a brake change to keep the pads lubricated at the retainer channels and piston contact area. Excellent at preventing squeaks and ensuring smooth braking. Also does a great job of lubricating the lug nuts so they can be easily removed for future maintenance. The cap has an integrated brush for easy application, and the amount of material in the container is likely to last for years.

  • Easy Install

YOU WON'T GET FUCKED

God, can any of you learn how to use the *scale* and weigh? Yes, it's half full, but you get 8 ounces of product in the container you purchased. Brand new container without brush cap = 8.7 oz. It's not uncommon for some manufacturers to use the same physical container for different sizes and fill it "as needed". In this case, keep in mind that copper is three times the density of aluminum, so you can expect the aluminum version to be "fuller" than the copper (or nickel) version.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

It stops brake squeal when used correctly.

After changing the brakes I only squeaked at very low speeds but after reading many reviews I took a chance with this product. This product lives up to the advertising. I took my brakes apart and cleaned them thoroughly with brake cleaner and a wire brush (being careful not to damage the rubber seals). After that I applied this copper grease to the metal surfaces that were contacting the brake pads. The squeak is gone. It's like I'm finally scratching that itch that I couldn't reach for hours.

What can I say? suitable for oils and liquids

This is a high pressure copper plating that prevents parts from rusting and seizing. If people stopped tightening things like lug nuts and basically anything else on a car where they can pointlessly hammer it in with pneumatic tools, this company probably wouldn't work. However, people are lazy and refuse to use a manual torque wrench to get the correct torque readings, making this product and company very profitable. Good deal, good product. Too many lazy mechanics, especially when tightening…

A must have for a variety of nut and bolt situations

I use Copper Lubricant in a variety of applications. The most critical installation of spark plugs in the aluminum engine block. You don't want those plugs to get stuck and damage the threads in the block. When you put a spark plug in, how easy is it to remove it after 50,000 miles and so many years? With this material, corks come out without a fight. Some dissimilar metals can also cause problems when they are firmly bonded together, which is known as seizing, and this prevents this from…

Radio Amateurs Hear

If you like radios and need better communication, I will give you some pointers that you must use this product. I used it as a "feel good product" for my antenna connections for a while because I've never really been able to measure if it makes a difference. I would swear all my radios worked better, but after today I'm convinced. Attempting to fit the CB into these new Cherokees was a pain, and I finally gave in and just went with the magnetic mount. To make matters worse, my Trailhawk has a…
