Pen is good for puppies but probably not strong enough for older/large dogs. The metal is kind of thin and the door is in an awkward spot; It's not easy to align the door when you attach it to a metal cage.

I like it for the price my bitch is about to give birth just one thing I wish she was a little stronger so easy to move / very light. So I would like it to be a bit heavier and not slide as easily.

I had a newborn puppy that needed more space after the puppy. I used this to give him more space and also put him outside when he was ready for outdoor activities, but I didn't want him to have to deal with violent adult dogs indoors. Light enough not to be bulky but strong enough to hold securely. I added an extra latch at the bottom of the door. That allowed too much distance and I was afraid he might get caught. I would give that a 5 if there was an additional latch on the door. However…

This playpen is good if your dog can't climb. Our 9 week old Beagle was born in a few days. He knows how to do it, thanks to horizontal bars. It defeats the purpose, but more importantly, he injured himself trying to get out. Once his paw got stuck when he climbed over it and his whole body hung on the paw. Luckily we were home and helped him before he got seriously hurt. For this reason we are sending it back. If you're not worried about your dog getting out, then this is a good option. It…
