I use it to train a cat. He has a habit of going into things and places that I don't want him to do or leave. It seems to be working in that regard, or I'm happy with it. One thing I should mention, the article about it states that ultrasound cannot be heard by the human ear. I have to say that hearing aids can pick it up. Every time I use it I hear it and for that reason I don't use it more than I really need to. I don't know if there will be problems with my hearing aids.

I took my naughty dog to a sawmill where the dogs are friendly. My dog goes nuts when he sees another dog and sometimes even people scare him and he's downright obnoxious. This product works on my dog. However, the "positive tone” used for positive reinforcement is NOT positive for them! She's really concerned about this, so I don't use it as a "good job" signal. I only use a negative ultrasonic tone as she will start barking unnecessarily at neighbors walking past our door or at harmless street noise.
