My barelt dog noticed it even with the highest vibrations and.

My dog noticed the bas-relief even at the highest vibration and after a week it stopped working even though we turned it off every night and when she was not dressed during the day.

Difficult to combine, did not vibrate

This is very disappointing. This was to teach my 14 year old deaf girl to remember so she could be unleashed. I expected that for $100 it would already be paired and no troubleshooting needed. The instructions were a bit confusing and it took a few frustrating attempts to finally get it working. When that happened, it didn't vibrate. It was recommended by several deaf dog websites so I didn't read the reviews. This is the last time I make this mistake.

  • The best
Cons
  • I will not say anything

Great idea, poor execution

Battery life is terrible. I got this for an elderly deaf dog and the battery died within a couple of days. I really wanted something that vibrates but doesn't shake so I was so excited when I found this! However, it won't turn off, so it's always looking for the remote and draining the battery even if it's walking over the dog. It's a great idea, but poor execution. For 2 days the battery was so weak that it hardly vibrated. A simple switch solves the problem!

Not our first training device

This is a buzzing collar that my dog ignores. Buzz - heal. Repetition. really try, outside, the dog just keeps walking. Most deaf dog websites recommended this product. My 1 year old deaf dumb boxer (rescue - had no previous training) just ignores me and the trainer. It took me several months to get the trainer to work with my deaf child and now I am not getting the collar back. This is a decoration in a drawer. The collar is not intuitive to any of us. We had trouble getting it to work as aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Legacy model

Unreliable performance - very poor battery life

Well after chasing my deaf dog all over my yard (luckily fenced in) I had it with this collar. We have had him for 8 months now and his work cannot be relied on. Yesterday at the kennel my dog tried to attack another dog and no vibration stopped him (because he stopped working again). I brought it home, replaced the batteries (in just a week and a half), tested it, it seems normal. Walked outside and at first she was nice and approachable, and then bam she kinda knows when she stops working and

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
