I put this in the sump of my reef tank. I used a cooler last year and it wiped out my electric bill. I hope that makes it better. I would have liked the four fan version but it wasn't on the list. Used on an axolotl tank in Arizona. The power connector fell in when reconnected (after cleaning the tank) after only a few months, cooling my 16 gallons to 69 at best. I had to add ice packs to help with cooling. Actually not as long as I was hoping for how much it would cost. I can't even describe how cheap they are. The mounting rail is just a U-shaped piece of metal with two screws. I can't think of an easy or practical way to mount it securely if you have any type of cover for your setup. In fact, we went through two such blocks. None have lasted more than 3-4 months without at least one fan failing. Complete failure came a few weeks after they got significantly louder and one fan stopped completely.
