The monitor is nice and bright. It's also quite traceable. Even if you're going from higher than Full HD to 4K, you'll love the clarity — at least once you get used to figuring out how to make fonts bigger. Haven't used all the features yet. Overall I am happy with these monitors. I bought two of these for my stuck working from home setup. My usual recommendation for monitors is "buy one of the latest Dell UltraSharp U series". but I wanted 2 monitors over 1080p and that's expensive now. I wish I had more opportunity to review this image, but in my experience the monitor's ability to deliver resolution and color clarity is excellent. This is an absolute recommendation for a cheaper high-end monitor. Attention, this cannot be installed! And the stand is not adjustable. Definitely two surprises that I didn't want to admit after the purchase. The first box was badly damaged so keep that in mind when ordering yours!

This is a great all round monitor for the operator's workstation. The 27-inch screen is best for side browsing, but the 4K resolution really delivers when you need crisp text. I'll say this, I had a 27" 1080p and it's MUCH better in clarity even though I'm only using 3008x. The resolution is 1692 on my Mac Pro 2015 Retina. I'm sitting 28-30 inches from the monitor , and that's the "most comfortable" resolution for my aging eyes. If you're looking for a 27" monitor, spend a few bucks more to try

Left is a $500 HP Envy, right is a $200 Phillips. Very impressed with Philips for the money. Color contrast is rich and even brighter than the HP Envy. Overall, the clarity and color quality compliment the more expensive brand as a cheaper second monitor.
