Bought this to use in the kitchen to plug my microwave and night light into the same outlet. This adapter is not suitable for this, since the alignment of the plugs is not vertical, but lateral. In addition, the adapter is quite large and clumsy.

I liked it because it's strong and durable but it's a little bigger than expected. Can only be used in one of two outlets (top or bottom, but will not fit two faucets) and don't expect to install a mains transformer or smart plug in the second outlet. Only one cable (2 or 3 pins) as shown.

This is a good deal and a nice colour. I had this outlet that made it awkward to access the plug to the left of the protruding AC plug. This simplifies access to plugins. I really only have 1 extra outlet as I can't use the right one but I'm happy with what I wanted. I can also put a thin plug in the tip.

Beware of other straighter/curved designs that appear more modern but have less real functionality - I've used both and only use the cube form factor. Likewise, I'll always spend a little more (we're talking cents here) on the Philips brand than on an unnamed one that will have unknown build quality or reliability. This product will accompany you as long as you need it and will not let you down.

I bought it to use in the exact scenario of the picture where this item is in the top outlet and an extension cord with an angled plug is in the bottom socket is located. The product I received is larger than it appears in this picture and does not fit the corner plug below. This item actually covers the top of the bottom outlet a bit so the larger plug doesn't fit in the bottom. It works in many scenarios, but be aware that it's larger than it appears in the pictures.
