Maybe an accident? for parts and components

I liked these. They worked exactly as advertised and gave the perfect angle for my lights (Cyclops auxiliary lights). However today after less than 2 months of use a bolt sheared off causing my light to dangle and bounce off my bike. I will say this, the optional Cyclops lights are very well built and quite heavy. But I also haven't taken my bike off the road since I installed them, so that's about 3,000,000 road miles total.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Not impressed, one of the most expensive clamps but they scratch very easily, act very easily and if not tightened enough they crack. For that price, they should do quality control. PIAA wasn't impressed at all! When they called PIAA they sent me a new pair that seems solid, they said they had a couple of defective units.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

Bad mount adjustment

Bought a pair of these bike mounts. They are securely fastened to the engine guard, but the steering adjuster on one of them (to align them properly) is not fully tightened. I've tightened the cover screw as tight as possible, but the bulb still wobbles. It's been over 30 days since I bought it so I've requested a replacement mount and am at the mercy of Revain's warranty service. I will report and improve my rating when I get a replacement.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Nothing special, just fine

Had to change a bit and they haven't been used off-road yet so we'll see

I read the mixed reviews and ran into the same problem where they weren't clamped tight. I installed on my KTM 1290 Super Adventure R '17. After installation and a quick drive around, it turned out that my Cyclops lights were facing down. I removed and machined about 1/16 inch from each side of the surface where each half meets. It helped a little. I still didn't have a good, strong grip until I wrapped the guard bar with 1" grip tape exactly where the mount was supposed to go. It seems much…

Very good mounts. Worth the price.

If you need to mount LED lights on your ATV, use these brackets. I mounted my Kawell LED lights on my Honda Rincon using these brackets and they fit together perfectly. These brackets allow you to mount the lights in so many different configurations that directing the lights where you need them is no problem. They are very well built and have a metal construction. I find they hold up to the different types of trails I ride (mud, water, dirt, very rough terrain). They fit very well in my rack so

Poor quality control but decent product

I liked that they had variable mounting height depending on how you rotate the shackle and they had large hardware with hex keyholes but the clips were different sizes. I needed this for 7/8 inch OD tubing so I had to use the plastic sleeve that came with it. A clip fits snugly and snugly with a small gap between the two halves once fully tightened. The problem was with a different bracket. The two halves are fully drawn together with no gap and therefore no extra space to make them tighter. I…

Safety bar mount

Fits very well. Quality IS. Adjustability is also a plus. There are two different sized holes for attaching lamps. they fit perfectly on my sw motech handlebars. However. Regarding the previous reviews regarding the ability of the turntables to lock properly IS an issue! I can only agree with some of the other reviews that this seems to be the weak link in this product! The two different hole sizes suggest they can accommodate larger bulbs, which I think could be an issue. This design has a…

Bad design - look for another solution.

These are decent if expensive mounts and the only ones I could find that can mount my lights the way I wanted them. However, initially I thought they were well designed, but they have one serious flaw. At first glance, it looks like the hex screw that tightens the rotating lamp bracket (the long flat piece with holes for the lamp bracket) wraps the two sides of the bracket (the part that attaches to your car) around the base of the compressed lamp holder. Preventing the rotation of the bracket.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity
