The problem with many gel saddles is that they are very expensive or too big. It was the perfect size to replace the stock saddle on the 2018 Scott Scale 980. The original seat caused a lot of discomfort after 2 hours while this feels amazing even after 5-6 hours on it. Highly recommended!

This bike seat is very comfortable, it hasn't been around long enough to test its durability. Not much heavier than a normal mountain bike saddle. For extra comfort, it's worth the extra weight. Still thin enough to ride trails. Be sure to adjust the pitch to your liking. I had it too slanted and it was very uncomfortable compared to the flatter side. I will buy this seat for all my bikes.

I bought this seat to replace the stock seat on my Trek Marlin 6. The stock seat is so hard that after about a mile or so my butt started to hurt badly. Riding a bike is almost no fun. Great deal on a fairly comfortable seat. I drive about a couple hundred miles a week and needed something more comfortable than the stock seat when the miles started to add up. I chose this as I was on a tight budget and am glad I made that choice. After riding a few hundred miles and busting the seat underneath me every day, I would buy it again for another bike in no time, and indeed I did. My work bike got one too, now my butt rides comfortably wherever I pedal.

It's crazy how much hype there is behind a bicycle seat. People willing to shell out $100-$300 for a seat just because of brand or style. Or you can choose a $20 seat, which may not look as cool but is 10 times more comfortable! It's crazy how much people are willing to suffer with one of those flimsy or poorly padded seats just to look stylish. Seat. There's really no point in having that much padding in there. You will not sit in this part. Otherwise great design.

Misled by reviews here. I have always used WTB, Ergon, Selle Italia and Fizik seats on my mountain bikes and road bikes. As a backup bike, it doesn't ride as much as my main bike, but my best estimate is that I've put about 1,500 miles on this seat.
