My IOGEAR Bluetooth 4.0 USB Micro Adapter (GBU521) worked fine with my Plantronics Back Beat Pro 2 sonically (it was as good as the BT600), but I couldn't get the Plantronics headset media remote (stop, start, back, forward) to work on my Windows 10 PC. With the BT600, the control works in most cases, at least at close range. However, the BT600 does not show up as a Bluetooth device in Windows 10, but under Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Plantronics Hub and the comments here suggest itโ€ฆ

Saved my Plantronics headset

I spent hours getting the Plantronics Backbeat Sense headset to work on my laptop with Windows 7. My laptop supports Bluetooth audio and headset profiles, but the Plantronics does -Headset didn't work with it, probably lousy drivers. the headset "just works", it has a nice light. - Blue light when the headset is on, so you can easily see if you forgot to turn off the headset (and it's not near your PC). - Red light when you have muted the microphone in the headset during the call. Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Not reliable

Offers great connectivity with Plantronics Backbeat Pro headphones, but WAY overpriced. If it was about 1/3 the price I paid I would give it five stars without reservation. The connection provided is of higher quality than the built-in Bluetooth adapter. This adapter provides an almost instant and hassle-free connection to your Plantronics Backbeat Pro headphones. Note, however, that while the range is much better than most built-in Bluetooth transmitters, it's nowhere near the range advertised

piss off! in the "Networks " section

Lured to this purchase because of the reviews about Revain. Ideas about the ease of "pairing" with the Plantronics 5200 headset were the plan and that the sound quality would be great. Both goals proved more difficult to achieve. After several attempts, the pairing succeeded. Good. A recurring problem is that the audio quality is unacceptable: crammed with "clicks and pops" like static, for which I can't find a workaround. Worse, connections often break. I bought this in the hope that it wouldโ€ฆ

Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I purchased this little unit before receiving a set of Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 Special Edition wireless headphones which I ended up snapping. It sat in my desk drawer waiting for the headphones to arrive while I set up my computer with multiple audio output options and Bluetooth adapters to test the headphones when they were here (motherboard onboard audio, USB sound card, PCIe audio) . card and several types of Bluetooth transmitters with analog input). D-Day came and I loaded up theโ€ฆ
