Plantronics Electronic Switch APP 51 Control Review

Expensive but works as expected allowing our company to use our phone system wirelessly and hands-free with the Plantronics CS520 binaural wireless headset system.

It's ok but nowhere in the instructions nor does Amazon or Plantronics support indicate that you need to program the phone to make it work with this unit. It doesn't work without programming. I just found it out and will re-evaluate after some use

A great upgrade for the HL-10 Lifetime Camera I used previously. Don't forget to set up EHS on your phone to make it work properly. Simple instructions are available from Plantronics. I ordered two of these for Polycom VVX 411 phones. They work great with Savi-W745 headsets.

I am sure this is a quality product but it is not compatible with my Polycom VVX410 office phone. The handset did not ring to report an incoming call. It was not possible to use the answer button on the headset for an incoming call, it still had to be answered using the "Headset" button on the desk phone. The headset didn't seem to recognize when you connected a call, it would mute/disconnect during a call.

Works as advertised. Bought for a colleague of mine's headset that didn't work with our new phone system. It actually worked, you just couldn't answer a call from the headset without pressing the headset button on the phone as the phone couldn't know you picked up the receiver. It was the missing part and it works perfectly. I've seen a few other reviews on connector spacing, but that wasn't an issue for us.

When I bought this I read reviews that said they die out every now and then. I figured I'd give it a try anyway, to make my life at work a little easier. I bought this item on 6/12/20 which means I honestly received it on 6/15/20. Well today is September 29th 2020 and this thing just made a huge pile on my day and hasn't even lasted 4 months and at $50 a piece and dying out every 3 1/2 months that can get expensive. We've used Polycom phones with Plantronics wireless headsets - and this combination works great, except the answer button on the headset doesn't work without using the handset lifter. Listener raisers have always seemed a bit awkward to me; but this cable completely solves the problem with no elevator. This works as advertised but should be at least 30cm if not 60cm longer. Plantronics states that the charging base must be at least 6 inches from the phone, which is approximately the distance you can place the charging base with this device. The problem is that you may not need a charging station 6-12 inches away. from your desk phone due to other devices on your desk, but you have no choice.
