PlasmaGlow 11121 Activator Switch Version Review

Installed on motorcycle for high beam headlamp, Works great, looks good, Red LED does not distract, Easy to install/use and waterproof

I placed my order last month and they say it will be 2 more months before I receive it. I think since Amazon is a seller they will do a little better.

I bought 2 of these to install on my boat which has the same switches. They're a size smaller than I expected, but they feel, look and work well. The button itself is slightly smaller than a coin. I will buy more.

They are really amazing and comfortable (super easy and versatile installation) but seems a little expensive for Chinese people. I'm not the type to complain too much about Chinese products, but the website led me to believe they were made in the USA. However, this is a high quality product that works great and looks great.

Looks like the switch is plastic (not metal). Although the manufacturer (plasmaglow.com/activator-switches/) does not specify the difference and lists the part number under "Stainless Steel", it is definitely not a painted stainless steel switch. Overall it feels like good quality. The LED gives off a nice warm red light when the circuit is closed. However, the button is too small to fit inside. I installed this switch when I upgraded my bike's lights with a relay so I could could turn headlights off to start the bike without draining the battery too much. I have been using Plasmaglow switches on several vehicles for a number of years.
