PREMIUM NYLON MATERIALS PLUS GLASS FIBER – Made of high-quality hard nylon plastic mixed with highly robust glass fibers, these threaded self-tapping wall anchors are super hard, durable, anti-aging and wear resistant. They can hold objects with maximum weight of 50lbs and provide strong and sturdy grip into the wall. 50 premium galvanized Phillips screws ensures reliable installation and mounting. PRACTICAL DESIGN FOR STABLE INSTALLATION - The threads cut deep into the material, providing a secure hold and pull-out resistant grip of the wall anchor and screw kit. So far I have been against drywall screws!

I feel like I've been lied to at least 10 times when I tried to use plastic drywall screws because I thought they would work for something this light this time, but I was wrong every time. I've used these metal drywall screws for a few things around the house including hanging a heavy mirror and some floating shelves. When screwing you can feel how strong they are. This will definitely be something I will continue to buy!

Pros
  • PRACTICAL DESIGN FOR STABLE INSTALLATION - The thread cuts deep into the material and ensures a secure hold and strong hold of the wall anchor and screw set. The large threads are designed to hold securely in drywall and hold up to 50 lb items.
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Very durable, ideal for curtains.

These are the best curtain rod anchors - don't worry about the little anchor bushings that come with them! The anchors in this set are very large (over 1/2 inch in diameter) so make sure they are hidden behind whatever you are hanging. Easy to install with a hammer and screwdriver, no drilling required. I set it to 10 and on two pieces of drywall it lifted a bit and ripped off the paint. Probably glued right into the previous patch. Simple enough to patch it up.

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY NYLON MATERIALS AND GLASS FIBER. Made from high quality, tough nylon plastic mixed with very strong fiberglass, these threaded wall anchors are super tough, durable, resistant to aging and wear. They can hold items with a maximum weight of 50 pounds and provide a strong and secure hold on the wall. 50 high-quality zinc-plated Phillips screws ensure secure attachment and attachment.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Worse than plastic anchors

Extremely easy to break. I've had plastic anchors stronger than these. And forget about self-start. The liners break and when you try to "tap" them into the case they break. I have used thousands of these in my life and can honestly say they are the worst anchors I have ever come across. They're basically on par with the cheap ones you get with Walmart's substandard chipboard floating shelves (which I wouldn't trust even with a jacket, let alone a drywall shelf).

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Decent drywall anchors at a great price

If you've used them before, you know how handy they are. If you rent an apartment with dozens of layers of stucco on the walls, and you need to put picture frames and shelves, this is incredibly convenient. The plastic isn't reinforced like some of the more expensive nylon kits, but they'll do the job just fine. In fact, their tendency to break off when diving as deep as possible is very useful. You *could* use a manual drive to install them, but it's a lot easier to use an electric drive…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

30% failure rate - poor quality plastic

I've spent more time digging broken "self-drilling" anchors out of the wall than installing them. I highly recommend pre-drilling a pilot hole before attempting to install any of these anchors. When this is done they seem to work pretty well. But expect failure at the slightest resistance. I WAS able to use some of the ones that broke off the tips of the drill bits after the pilot hole was installed, but why would I when they should make their own? I don't think I had particularly strong…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
