High quality, precise fits. The only ones I use.

These nozzles are precision ground and I use them almost exclusively on my printers of which I have 6 ranging from Delta to CoreXY machines. With abrasive threads, they are short-lived. To do this, buy hardened steel. You can use them on abrasive materials, but don't expect them to last long. They offer excellent print quality for all non-abrasive filaments. Definitely wear better than brass and seem to clog less (but that's just from personal experience). I use it 24 hours a day for TPU…

Pros
  • Fits: E3D Volcano / Artillery Sidewinder
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Great when it works but breaks easily

When I first received this attachment I was impressed. I've printed some highly abrasive filaments (carbon fiber and glow-in-the-dark blends) and it handled them with no noticeable wear. However, about 2 weeks into ownership I reinstalled the injector, tightened it to my normal torque (I use a 3D printed torque wrench specifically for injectors) and the injector head broke off. This not only broke the nozzle but rendered my heater block unusable as the bottom half of the nozzle was stuck inside

Pros
  • Filament 1.75mm
Cons
  • So far so good

Exactly what I needed.

Needed a 0.4mm nozzle for the Vulkan extruder as it's too difficult to remove the heater block and go back to shorter nozzles when I want to do fine detail. The price is the only thing I would give up this lure for as I was in a pinch and couldn't find any other .4 baits of this length but I can now find 4 packs for the same price. I haven't used it long enough and don't print close enough to judge if the material is truly "wear-resistant", but at least it helps me determine which nozzle is in…
