The camera frame with the license is good, but the video quality is not very strange. What you should see on one side is on the opposite side, like what's on the right is on the left and what's on the left is on the right, it's weird when you go upstairs.

After a year of driving our truck, the chrome finish is not so good anymore. It's scarred and sweaty and really doesn't look presentable anymore. I wish I could go with another camera that isn't built into cheap metal. The camera itself works great.

The whole device is of very good quality. Chrome really shines. The camera has amazingly clear video. On my truck, I can tilt the camera down to show the top of my hitch. Helps to connect to trailer. First I bought a camera that was attached to the license plate frame. It didn't look right so I saw what was built into the frame as one piece. GREAT

Overall, it has excellent transparency day and night. I bought my original from a Taiwanese company. It took 3 weeks before I received it. days. reason for exchange. I shorted out the old one. It only worked after going through a car wash. So I think it will happen eventually. Good that they are available at such a low price. For those fancy stereos in your car or truck, I would recommend getting them done at a shop. When you don't have a budget or time constraints.

I installed this on my truck to replace another aftermarket camera that failed and I tried it without cutting any of the hinges , just to make sure I have to flip the image. I installed at night and found the night vision image was poor but I had to mirror the image as it is used as a backup camera.
