Ideal for Oculus Rift cameras

Works well. I use them to expand my cameras and Oculus Rift headset. The cameras work well without the included power adapter, but the headset requires one. The only downside of the product is the external power supply. I need a power adapter for my Oculus headset - I asked support if I could buy a longer power adapter; I was told to use an extension cord. I replied that I run it through the wall and didn't want an extension cord plugged into this one in the wall. This will probably be the only

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Large and bulky

The biggest problem is that this is intended to expand your USB devices and supposedly with HR and Samsung Odyssey too work . I had to unplug all other USB devices, but Odyssey worked in the end. The biggest problem, however, is that it needs to be plugged into a power source at the end of the cord. This makes it useless as an extension cable. You can only extend it to a short power cord that barely made it past my case. So instead of a 32ft extension, I received a 0.5ft extension with no other

Pros
  • , understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

When you need a high quality USB signal away from your computer

I needed to connect a microscope's USB camera to a lab computer. Although they are about 3 meters apart, it wasn't safe to pull the cable directly. The 10m USB cable with active power supply works very well. The center amp/repeater was in the wrong place, but I understand why it's needed. But again, I think I understand why it's designed the way it is. I have ordered a second of these 10m USB 3 active cables for the next time I need a long USB cable for reliable performance.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Plugable offers great customer service!

I bought a camera extension cable. The camera didn't work. Calypso's plug-in quote diagnosed the problem as cable length since the camera was power sensitive. I received an RMA immediately. Excellent technical support and customer service. I tried the USB scanner extension and it worked great. The product is well assembled and works as intended. Plugable states on its website that this is not recommended for cameras and other audiovisual devices. Based on my positive experience, I will buy…

Incredible 3.0 performance with Oculus Rift sensors

I had to move the sensors and headset for my Oculus Rift VR system off my PC (into the next room where I don't have floor space). From my calculations, I needed about 30 feet of cable to the USB ports on the sensors. At their previous location, I used Monoprice 15-inch active USB 3.0 cables, and the VR software often reported that they ran at 2.0 speeds. So I was a bit apprehensive about that last step and doubling the cable length. I'm happy to report that the sensors (according to the VR…

  • Confident

USB 3 compatibility issues

Update: The product works as a USB 3 device However, there are some strange compatibility issues. The device appears to show up separately as a USB 2 and 3 device in USBView, and the device I used to test was able to achieve over 90MB/s when connected to a pluggable USB 3 hub through this device was, but it did not agree. Also, when it works, other devices on the hub will start to work intermittently. For example, the BT dongle cannot search for or pair with devices. After all, it's a lot more…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Finally! No Ant+ dropouts on Zwift

Pluggable. you are the greatest. I've tried everything to make my Zwift installation work well with minimal latency and no Ant+ dropouts, I've finally found it. My setup is about 12 feet in space between the bike and the computer. Initially, reception was fine using the Antself Ant+ stick plugged into the back of the computer, although I had periods of significant Ant+ signal dropouts. From all my research, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth interference sometimes plays a role in Ant+ dropouts. So I moved the fan
