Dual-Sided Precision: Pocket Double Diamond Ceramic Sharpening Tool Review

This is a good compact sharpening stone. I find it handy for touching up medium to utility knives and axes/axes. I've bought several pencil sharpeners recently and this seems to be one of the best. I have fairly large hands (read: long thin fingers) so it can be a bit tricky to hold the small stone at times, but it's meant to be a pocket stone so I wouldn't deduct a star for that. .

I sharpen very well. I do manual woodworking as a hobby, you get the idea. I have no problem turning Aldi chisels into razor-sharp workhorses with my shop bricks and charged bars. That being said, I like the ceramic side, but that's not the important part. The diamond side is too flat and there are protrusions on the edges. I carry knives every day and bought this stone to take with me to sharpen in the field. I like the size and quality of the stone for the money. The diamond side seems to do a good job of repairing any shavings that may appear, and the ceramic side comes in handy for sharpening the edge so it stays set throughout use.
