Mine didn't work after a month and still doesn't work.

Polar is a great brand. They make equipment for professional athletes, so accuracy is important. However, it looks like they put it into production before it was properly configured. My device failed to sync with my phone and PC. Support specialists said they performed a factory reset which failed twice. As soon as I finally completed the factory reset, the device started stuttering in the heart rate reports (dotted lines were reported instead of the actual readings). Then the sleep function…

Better for people who train a lot/lots/hours and have failed completely by 6 months.

****Edit***** Watch completely broken after 6 months of ownership. I put it on in the morning, worked and everything is fine. I got ready for work, went to the office and the watch is completely dead, not responding to user actions. The battery was at 100% at the beginning of the day. I should preface this by saying that I am not training for a marathon, triathlon or any other form of athleticism. In fact, those days are behind me. I think I'm more active than a lot of people in my age group…

Choose between Fitbit, Polar Ignite or Garmin Vivoactive 4s

I've been using Fitbit for a few years now and it suddenly broke so I've been looking for a new fitness watch. I like to do fitness in the gym, teach yoga and also do martial arts. After looking at 7 different watches, I settled on Polar Ignite and Garmin Vivoactive 4s. I bought both and this is my own review.
