Cheap and convenient way to store wheels and tires outside

I've had a few wheels and tires in this thing for months and it's held up to the Arizona sun and thunderstorms that's the time of year. I have a canvas version from another manufacturer and it's falling apart so I bought this one as well and will probably buy another one.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Disappear

Inexpensive, but not very durable outdoors.

That lasted me 2 years before the material became brittle and fell apart. I had it outside my house next to my garage where it sat in the sun part of the day. Before that, it did a good job of keeping water out of the tires. (I cut out a round piece of plywood to put on the top rail to support the top of the bag.) Overall not bad for the price.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model

Much better than the free bags they give you at the tire shop.

I have two of these for our winter tires. I don't actually use fasteners. The fabric is stiff enough to keep the down tube vertical and the top low enough not to be blown away in high winds (mine are kept on the side of our shed, mainly for weather protection). I use the frisbee on the top wheel (under the lid) to keep the water from pooling.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some defects

Not suitable for outdoor use.

If you plan to store tires in a nice, cozy garage or basement, then this bag is a worthy solution. But if you're hoping to expose this thing to something harder than dust, I'd suggest you look elsewhere. After a fairly mild winter in Chicago, the thing was as good as dead. It was outside, not in direct sunlight, but rain, snow, etc., and it wasn't windy. The material has become brittle, brittle and tears if you look too closely. So for indoor use - it's ok... for outdoor use - it's not good at…

Good price Accessories and parts

I store my tires outside on a plant/furniture cart (X shaped) so I can transport them with this cover on top. The cover fits my (4) 235/40-18 perfectly, my tires are 25-1/2". Be sure to check the diameter of your tires before purchasing to ensure they will fit. The case is not completely waterproof , there are tiny holes in some places but I'm not complaining about the price, I just put a plastic trash bag on it to make sure it's fully protected from the rain and increase the life of the case..

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

would be better, but I think it would be good for .

The night before they got here I was woken up by the wind howling in the plastic bags from the tire shop I kept on my balcony. Much windier tonight and no tire noise yet. The cover was perfect for a 215/45R17 with limited space. If the clip straps were continuous through an 'X' it would be better but I think storage is enough. I could treat the leather with some UV protection since it's on the balcony but it would be good enough for garage use anyway.

Pros
  • One year probation
Cons
  • Hard to say

Winter Tire Storage

This product was great the first 5 times I used it. The storage bag comes in two parts, making it much easier to fit heavy tires individually. Deducted two stars because of the plastic caps. With normal use, one of the plastic clips holding the two parts broke. I fixed the situation by tying a knot to hold it, but for the price I was expecting a higher quality mechanism to hold everything together. I wouldn't advise you to buy any other product, this one is absolutely fine, just learn from my…

Weak plastic buckle construction and poor two-piece construction

Purchased May 1, 2017; discarding them today (December 4, 2017); mounting on tires is clumsy; the cover consists of two parts; You need to insert the first two tires into the ground (not easy with the heavy tires and bottom plastic half hanging around), then arrange the other two tires to form a stack of 4 tires and pull up the top of the cover. over the stack and attach straps to secure the two pieces together; one of the plastic buckles broke; I'm still buying a Heininger 5392 which I already

Amazing product + delivery time

I was quite skeptical when I first reviewed this product as the strut skirt sells for $49 + shipping. However, a bag is just the thing for storing tires or mounted tires. The product description says that this bag has a zipper, which I think is wrong. To be honest, I can't find a zipper on either the bottom or the top half of the bag. I currently stock 17 x 7.5" wheels with 225/45/17 tires and all four fit easily, plenty of room. If you have higher profile tires I would check to make sure they…
