Doesn't stick to bed

I tried this ASA brand as my regular brand was out of stock. It didn't stick to the bed at all. I've tried it on a smooth and textured print bed, I've tried with and without glue and it still didn't stick properly. I cannot rate the quality of the print as all prints failed by about 10%.

Pros
  • Important note
Cons
  • boring packaging

ASA is my main filament. I've bought every Polymaker ASA color except white and will likely do so when another brand's current roll runs out. All in all, these filaments can be printed without any problems on my FLSun QQ-S Pro with a closed and heatable build chamber. They print consistently: bed at 75°C, nozzle at 255°C, chamber at 45°C. Good ventilation or a VOC scrubber is recommended as these threads emit a distinctive odor. The only issue I can document is their tendency to unravel easily…

Pros
  • High temperature resistance and mechanical properties
Cons
  • Not sure

Breach of contract for me

I bought an ASA polylite spool to specifically print some heat resistant parts to restore the hot end of my printer. The thread seems to be everything I could wish for. (Apart from the tendency to stick to the PEI coating on the build plate.) My problem isn't with the ASA filament, it's with the spool. A spool of thread fell off my workbench in my garage. The spool is broken. Now it can't be used on my spool holders. Maybe it's my age, but over the years I've dropped a few coils and the…
