Worked great for 2 months and can no longer be unlocked. I hear it activate, but the latch bar won't retract and now I can't get in the back of my truck. To edit. Replace Revain under warranty and the replacement no longer worked either.

Great item if you want to keep your tailgate. Prevents theft at the tailgate and protects items in the tank. Fits easily with instruction chart, good photos and simple instructions. It was installed in a right-hand drive vehicle. Wiring etc. as described.

I can't comment on how well it works on all the different trucks it needs to work on, just how it worked on my 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 long cab. I had to change the connector part to lock it properly. The wiring worked well according to the instructions and video on YouTube. If you have a 2003 model, you may encounter some problems.

First of all I have to say that I have excellent electrical and mechanical experience, I have been doing similar work for more than 13 years. Links are cheap to make and not sure how secure they are but they will keep honest people honest. Okay, the product unsure of the price needs to see how it holds up over time. Unless you want a minor disappointment and have little to no mechanical/electrical skills, order a standard lock.

To be honest, there is not much to say about this. Bought it despite the many negative reviews. Easy to install, worked right from the start. You had to press the lock button twice to lock the lock enough to prevent it from being forced open. The drive lever dangles and rattles all the time, and one day it just stopped working.
